What Our Pest Control Services Cover

Last updated: October 2026

Colorado Pest Pros provides residential and commercial pest control across Colorado, including treatments for ants, spiders, rodents, wasps, cockroaches, bed bugs, fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, and termites. All treatments are performed by technicians licensed under the Colorado Pesticide Applicators’ Act, C.R.S.

Title 35, Article 10, and the state licensing rules at 8 CCR 1203-2. We apply products according to EPA-registered label directions as required by FIFRA, and we handle any qualifying pesticide waste in line with RCRA hazardous-waste requirements.

Some situations fall outside a standard service visit. Structural repairs, wildlife exclusion on large buildings, mold remediation, and cleanup of hazardous materials require a separate written agreement.

Work regulated by the Colorado Department of Agriculture, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, or local agencies such as Denver Department of Public Health and Environment may also need additional authorization. If we find a condition that needs a different scope, we will explain it before any extra work begins.

Booking, Rescheduling, and Cancellations

Appointments can be scheduled by phone, email, or through our website. Once a time is confirmed, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move the visit. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be subject to a trip charge, which we will explain when you book.

If our technician arrives and the property is not accessible locked gates, pets not secured, or no one home when access is required we will attempt to contact you. If we cannot gain entry, the visit may be treated as a missed appointment.

Changes to the agreed scope of work, such as adding a treatment area or switching to a different product approach, require your approval before we proceed. We will never expand the work or the cost without your sign-off. Weather can affect outdoor treatments in Colorado; if conditions are unsafe, we will reschedule at no penalty to you.

Quotes, Pricing, and Payment Terms

Before work begins, we provide a written estimate based on the property, the pest issue, and the treatment plan discussed. Estimates are valid for the period stated on the quote. If site conditions turn out to differ from what was described for example, a larger infestation than expected we will issue a revised estimate and wait for your approval before continuing.

Payment is due when service is completed unless you have arranged a service plan with different billing terms. We accept standard payment methods, which our office will confirm at booking. For recurring plans, charges recur on the schedule set out in your agreement.

If any part of the invoice is unclear, contact us before paying so we can walk through it. Disputed charges will be reviewed promptly. We do not add work, products, or fees that were not part of the approved estimate.

Our Workmanship Warranty

Colorado Pest Pros stands behind the quality of its treatments. When a warranty applies to your service, the duration and coverage are stated in writing on your service agreement or invoice warranty periods vary by pest and treatment type, so check your paperwork for the specific term.

If covered pest activity returns within the warranty window, we will re-treat the affected areas at no additional charge. The warranty covers the workmanship of our application and the treatment plan we agreed to.

Coverage can be voided by conditions outside our control, including structural changes after treatment, sanitation issues that attract pests, new moisture problems, disturbance of treated areas, or untreated activity from neighboring properties. Damage caused by the pests themselves, pre-existing infestations in areas not covered by the agreement, and issues arising after the warranty period expires are not covered. If you believe a warranty claim applies, call us and we will inspect and respond.

Limits of Liability

Our liability for any claim arising from services performed is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. Colorado Pest Pros is not liable for pre-existing conditions, structural damage, or pest activity that existed before our first visit, nor for losses caused by factors outside our reasonable control.

All applications follow EPA-registered label directions under FIFRA and the requirements of the Colorado Pesticide Applicators’ Act, C.R.S. Title 35, Article 10, and 8 CCR 1203-2. Our technicians comply with OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200, for workplace chemical safety. Where pesticide waste qualifies under RCRA, it is managed accordingly.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where Colorado law does not permit such a limitation. These terms do not affect any rights you have under state or federal consumer protection law. If you have questions about how these limits apply to your situation, contact us before service begins.

Service Expert at Colorado Pest Pros

I started in pest control in the Denver area, where I learned how dry spells, snowmelt, and sudden temperature swings can change pest activity around homes and businesses. I built this company to give Colorado customers straightforward inspections and treatment plans grounded in local conditions, from older Denver homes to newer construction along the Front Range.
